What's new in the Business Space? - April 2026

Written by Maxime

This month brings a new way to send international payments, smarter Inbox handling, and updates across your Document processor and business partner workflows. Here's what's new.

New features

Send international payments directly from Banqup

You can now make direct international transfers to beneficiaries in their local currency, all from your Banqup Business Account. When you start a transfer, Banqup fetches the live exchange rate and shows the converted amount and fees before you confirm. The form adapts to the destination country (for example, ABA Routing numbers for the U.S., IBANs for the Eurozone), so you only fill in what's needed.

Add CC recipients when sending invoices and quotes by email

Your email delivery channels now support adding multiple CC recipients for invoices and quotes. Add as many CC addresses as you need, and Banqup checks the email format in real time so you catch typos before sending.

Pick from a wider, smarter unit list in your invoices

The unit selector in Document Creator and Document processor now shows a Default list of the 40 most common units, plus a More units section with over 200 additional Peppol-compliant options. You can search by translated name or by official Peppol code, and any input is validated against the full Peppol unit list. Only the 40 default units are translated for now.

Improvements

  • Smarter Inbox handling
Invalid documents are flagged with a Rejected status, double-clicking a line opens the document for processing (or its Activity Log if it's already in Error or Processed state), and PDF attachments received by email are all picked up automatically. → Read more

  • Email bounce alerts
When an email to a delivery address bounces, a warning icon appears next to the address in the Delivery Channels tab. Hovering shows the latest delivery failure details.

  • Better document download options
Download draft quotes, sales invoices, and credit notes directly from their respective apps, or from the edit screen when you open a document. The download menu now clearly separates a visual PDF from the structured electronic format (UBL), and highlights which file is the Original.

  • New Document Creator settings
You can now enable or disable a Penalty notice, Payment term and discount, or Payment conditions note from your Document Creator settings. → Read more

  • Mark suppliers as Trusted from the invoice details
You can now mark a supplier as Trusted (or remove the status) directly when viewing the details of an invoice, without leaving the document. The same menu also lets you edit customer or supplier details, manage delivery channels, and change the assigned partner on non-structured documents. → Read more

  • Clear feedback on international payments
Banqup warns you immediately if a beneficiary is in a sanctioned or unsupported country, and shows specific error messages when a payment can't be processed. After the transfer, the Transaction Radar overview shows the currency conversion fee and the invoice's original currency amount, and conversion fees collected at the source are tracked separately from standard payment fees.
