Reactivating a suspended account

Written by Maxime

If your subscription fees go unpaid, Banqup suspends your space. Nobody can work in it until you pay. You can sort this out yourself in a few minutes.

Get your access back

To get your access back and prevent losing it again, add a payment method to your space. Banqup then charges your fees on time, and your space stays open.

  1. Log in to Banqup. You land on the Subscriptions page, on the Billing tab. You cannot open anything else until the fees are paid.

  2. On the Payment method card, click Add payment method.

  3. Pick the method you want. Follow the steps on screen.

  4. Saved more than one? Click Select as default on the one Banqup should use.

Alternatively, you can pay your pending invoices one by one manually:

  1. Click pay your pending invoices in the red banner at the top.

  2. The Subscription fee details window opens. Check what the fee covers, then click Pay now.

  3. Choose how you want to pay. Follow the steps on screen.

  4. Do you owe more than one fee? Use the arrows at the foot of the window to reach the next one. The counter, such as 1 / 2, shows how many there are.

Pay every fee in the list. Once they are all paid, your space opens again straight away.

You cannot get in, and you are not an administrator

You see a screen that says:

Inactive subscription This space doesn't have an active subscription. Please get in touch with your administrator to resolve this issue and regain access.

Only an administrator can pay the fees. Ask whoever looks after the subscription at your company to do it. You need do nothing else. Your access comes back the moment they pay.

You got an email about a payment

Banqup sends two emails, and they mean different things. What you do depends on which one you have.

Automatic payment failed. Banqup could not take your payment. Perhaps no payment method is saved, or your bank refused it. Your access still works at this point. Pay the fee and you keep it.

Your account has been suspended. Your access is already blocked. Follow the steps under Get your access back.

Note: Check that the email is real

Scammers send emails like these too, so never trust the buttons in one. Check inside Banqup instead:

  1. Open Banqup yourself, the way you always do.

  2. Look at the Subscriptions page.

A real suspension always shows up there, and you can pay from there. If the page looks normal, the email was not from us. Delete it.

Your data is safe while you wait

You lose nothing during a suspension:

  • Your documents, contacts and settings stay as they are.

  • Your space still receives documents and alerts.

  • Your Peppol registration stays live, so you stay on the network.

Only access stops. Everything works again once you pay.

FAQ

Why was I suspended with no warning?

You were warned. Banqup emails the space administrators each time a payment fails. Every one of those emails says the space will be suspended if the fees stay unpaid. The suspension email is the last one in that run.

How long does it take for my space to be unsuspended?

Your account gets unsuspended immediately after we receive your payment.
