There are two ways to join Banqup: you can register directly through our website or accept an invitation from your accountant.
Both paths require setting up Banqup One, our mobile app which supports secure authentication on Banqup.

Registering on Banqup
Start your registration
Go to the Banqup web app and click on "Click here to register".
Scan the QR code with your smartphone to download the Banqup One app.
Register your company
Select the country in which your company is registered.
Search for your company by name, VAT or CBE number and select the matching entry.
Verify (and edit if necessary) your company name and email address.
Verify (and edit if necessary) your company's address.
Choose your company’s main activity field.
Select your company's additional activities.
A legal representative of the company will need to verify their identity to finalise the signup. Indicate if you’re one of the company's legal representatives. If you're not, you can invite the company's legal representative(s) via email.
Complete your verification
The legal representative will need to complete these steps:
Review all information.
Use Banqup One to scan the QR code and confirm your identity.
Banqup will review your application and notify you of the outcome via email within 48 hours.
Good to know: Once you log in to Banqup, you'll be able to discover the home screen with a short product tour.
Identify yourself with Banqup One
Banqup One by Banqup is a service that allows Banqup customers to create a verified account that allows them to identify themselves and to approve payments with their Banqup Business Account.
Scanning the QR code
It always starts with a QR code. Whether you are registering your own company or have been invited to a Banqup space, you will start by scanning a QR code allowing you to identify yourself with Banqup One.
Scan the QR code (from step #2 under the Complete your verification part above).
Review and accept the terms of service.
Add and verify your phone number.
Give permission to use your identity and biometric data.
Choose your identification method:

You'll need to confirm the sharing of your information in the app.
Official document (ID or passport)
You'll need to scan your document (front and back).
Make sure the photo is clear and your information legible.
Scan the QR code again to confirm that you are sharing your identity information with Banqup Group.
Click Confirm to finalise the registration.
Our team will now review your submission before approving it. Once the registration is successfully completed, you can now use the Banqup One app to log in and access the platform.
FAQ
Can I use a copy of my ID/passport?
No, you must use original, valid documents. Photocopies or digital copies will not be accepted for security reasons.
How long does the verification process take?
With all documents ready and good conditions (lighting, internet connection), the process typically takes 5-10 minutes.
Is my identity information secure?
Yes, all data is encrypted and only used for verification purposes. You'll be asked to explicitly confirm what information you share with Banqup Group.
What if I get an error during document scanning?
Common solutions include:
Ensuring good lighting.
Placing documents on a dark, non-reflective surface.
Keeping the camera steady.
Making sure your document is not damaged or dirty.
I get a notification saying my company is already onboarded, what can I do?
If you receive an error that your company is already registered on Banqup, it likely means another legal representative of your company has already completed the registration process. You should contact the legal representative who registered the company and ask them to invite you as a user to your company's Banqup business space.
