The Inbox gives you a complete overview of all incoming documents in your Banqup space. Think of it as your document command center, where you can track everything that's being imported, regardless of how it enters your space.
How it helps you
The Inbox provides a central location to:
Monitor document processing status.
Ensure all imports are successful.
Track documents from multiple sources in one place.
Catch any issues in the import process.
Viewing your documents
When you open Inbox, you'll see a comprehensive list of documents showing:
File names
Received dates
Last modified dates
Processing status
You can view the details (document activity, explanation of errors) of a document or open it via the Actions column.
You can also double-click any row to trigger the most relevant action automatically: the document opens for processing if it's still actionable, or its Activity Log opens if it's already in Error or Processed state.
Inbox captures documents coming from all import methods: documents uploaded manually or received via network connectors (like email, Peppol, and other Banqup users).
Handling emails with multiple attachments
When an email with several files attached lands in your Inbox, you can decide how each file should be handled before it enters Banqup.
How to do it
Open your Inbox.
Find the email you want to process.
Click the three dots (⋮) in the Actions column, then select Open document.
In the selection modal, for each file:
Choose Save as → pick whether the file is a Document (a main document like an invoice) or an Attachment (a supporting file).
If the file is an attachment, link it to the main document it belongs to.
Click Save to process the files.
Your Inbox shows the intake status of each file so you can see which ones were handled successfully.
Note:
All PDF attachments in a multi-attachment intake email are now processed automatically. You no longer need to re-send each file individually.
If a file fails to process, it is now flagged with a Rejected status in your Inbox. → Read more about handling invalid documents.
Adding new documents
You can also upload documents directly through Inbox:
Click the Upload button.
Choose files or drag and drop them.
Select document type:
Sales invoice
Purchase invoice
Note: Deleting documents from Inbox is permanent and cannot be undone. The Inbox helps ensure no document gets lost in the import process, making it an essential tool for avoiding duplicate imports of documents.
