Connect your Banqup space with Dropbox to automatically sync your business documents. This integration ensures your documents flow seamlessly to Dropbox.
Installing the extension
Open the app launcher.
Click Discover more.
Search for "Dropbox".
Click Install.
Confirm access permissions.
Connecting to Dropbox
Click on Sign in with Dropbox.
After logging in, you may get a warning from Dropbox. Click Continue.
Allow Banqup to edit your Dropbox.
Your Dropbox account is now connected. Your documents will be synced.
Important notes
Syncing creates copies of your documents. The originals remain in Banqup.
If you delete a document in Dropbox, it will not be deleted from Banqup.
If you delete a document in Banqup after it's been synced, it will remain in Dropbox.
How documents are stored in Dropbox
Once you've activated the integration, approved purchase invoices and sent sales invoices from the business space will automatically sync to your Dropbox.
Documents are organized in a clear, logical folder structure that keeps everything organized by business and document type:
Invoice_import: Main folder containing all business documents
Business folders: Named with company name and VAT number (e.g. "John Doe Group_BE0123456789")
AP folder: Contains purchase invoices
AR folder: Contains sales invoices
Individual files: Documents with descriptive filenames (sync date + invoice number + unique ID)

Disconnecting Dropbox
If you need to disconnect your Dropbox account:
Go to the Dropbox extension in Banqup.
Click Manage.
Toggle off the Active option.
Confirm your decision.

Can I sync historical documents?
No, only the documents approved or sent after activating the extension will be synced.
What file format are the documents synced in?
Documents are synced in e-fff format.
Is the connection secure?
Yes, Banqup uses Dropbox's secure OAuth authentication process. Banqup never stores your Dropbox password, and all data transfers are encrypted.
