This month brings comments on your documents for smoother teamwork, a smarter way to manage your customer and supplier list, batch payments straight from your bank account, and more control over which identifier your documents are sent with. Here's what's new.
New features
Discuss documents with your team using comments
A new Comments section in the document sidebar makes it easier to work together on a document. You see the latest three comments at a glance, and you can open the full history to search through earlier discussions. Everyone with access to the document can read and add comments. When you open the document details, a split-screen view shows the PDF preview next to the document information and comments, so you can check, discuss, and process in one place.
Deactivate business partners instead of deleting them
You can now keep your partner list clean without losing history. The Delete action has been replaced by a more flexible Deactivate workflow:
Deactivated partners move to a dedicated Deactivated tab and no longer appear in search results when you create new documents.
Need to work together again? Open the Deactivated tab and select Reactivate to restore them.
If a draft document is linked to a deactivated partner, a warning icon and tooltip alert you before you validate it.
The Business partners section now has tabs to switch between All, Customers, Suppliers, and Deactivated.
You can still delete a business partner permanently, but only after deactivating them first, so historical data and connection settings are never lost by accident.
Pay multiple invoices in one batch with your external bank account
You can now use your bank's native batch payment capabilities directly through Banqup. If your bank supports batch payments via open banking, you can authorise a whole group of invoices in one single flow instead of approving them one by one. If your bank doesn't support batch payments, your invoices still get paid: your bank account is debited once for the total amount, and Banqup then forwards each individual payment to the right beneficiary. An informational banner on the payment summary screen tells you when this is happening, so you always know how your funds are being processed.
Choose which Peppol identifier to send a document with
When sending a specific document, you can manually select a non-default Peppol or supplier identifier instead of always using the default. For example, your space default may be your company number, but you can pick your VAT number for one particular document.
Improvements
A new "Delivery rejected" status
Documents rejected by the receiving platform now show a dedicated Delivery rejected status, appearing in the In review tab alongside documents with the Delivery failed status. You can also filter on it. → Read more
Clearer Peppol delivery errors
When a document fails to deliver via Peppol, the banner now includes the delivery error message itself, making troubleshooting much faster. → Read more
Full access to reprocessed email attachments
Files you reprocess from a multi-attachment email now behave like any other document. Use the three-dots menu to view activities, download the file, or open the document, and double-click to open it directly for verification and processing. → Read more
Internal transfers reconciled automatically
Transaction Radar now recognises money transfers between your own accounts and matches the debit on one account with the corresponding credit on the other, even when no invoice is involved. Matched pairs show the rule that was applied, for example Money transfer between 2 accounts, so your transaction list stays clean. → Read more
