Deactivating a card is a permanent action that cannot be undone. Before proceeding, ensure you have downloaded or recorded any transaction history you may need, as this information will no longer be accessible after deactivation.
Deactivating your card
Go to Payment Accounts.
Select your Banqup Business Account.
Navigate to the Cards tab.
Click on the card you want to deactivate.
Select Card settings.
Click Deactivate card.
Confirm your choice.
What happens after deactivation
When you deactivate a card, it is permanently disabled and removed from your account.
You will no longer be able to:
View the card in your account.
Access its transaction history (the transactions will still appear on the payment account to which it was linked).
Reactivate the card.
Use it for any type of payment.
Important note
Before deactivating a card, consider whether freezing might be a better option. Freezing allows you to temporarily disable the card while maintaining access to its history and the ability to reactivate it later.
