Protecting your Banqup card is important, but we understand that cards can sometimes get lost, stolen, or damaged. This guide explains what to do in each situation to ensure your account remains secure and you can continue making payments with minimal disruption.
Blocking your card temporarily
If you've misplaced your card but think you might find it soon, you can temporarily freeze it.
If you find your card eventually, you can unfreeze it by following the same steps and toggling off the Freeze card setting.
Replacing your lost/stolen/damaged card
If your Banqup card is definitively lost, stolen, or damaged, you can ask for a replacement.
Access your card’s settings:
Go to Payment Accounts.
Click on the Banqup Business Account your card is linked to.
Go to the Cards tab, then click on the lost/stolen/damaged card.
Open Card settings.
Ask a card replacement:
Click Replace card.
Select the replacement reason and confirm.
Use your billing address for delivery or enter a different address manually.
Toggle that you confirm the one-time production & delivery cost can be paid via your subscription.
This process will immediately deactivate your current card and initiate the replacement process. Your old card will be permanently disabled and cannot be reactivated, even if you find it later.
Important notes:
Lost or stolen cards are blocked immediately after completing the steps above.
Damaged cards are only blocked when your new card is delivered and activated. The new card will maintain the same PIN code but will have a new expiration date and CVV code.
A fee will be charged on your subscription for the replacement card.
