Speed up your cash flow by letting customers pay invoices from their inbox with payment links and QR codes.

When you send invoices via email, Banqup automatically includes payment links that make it easy for your customers to pay you. No more waiting for customers to log into payment portals or manually enter payment details. They can complete payments with just a few clicks.

Why use payment links?

  • Faster payments
Customers can pay the moment they receive your invoice. This reduces payment delays and improves your cash flow.

  • Higher payment rates
The easier you make it to pay, the more likely customers are to pay quickly. Payment links remove friction from the payment process.

  • Less follow-up needed
With instant payment options, you'll spend less time chasing overdue invoices and sending payment reminders.

  • Better customer experience
Your customers appreciate the convenience of quick, secure payments without having to navigate complex payment processes.

How payment links work

Payment links transform your invoice emails from simple payment requests into instant payment opportunities. Here's what happens:

In the email:

  • A prominent "Pay now" button appears.

  • Customers click the button to go to a secure payment page.

  • They can pay immediately using their preferred payment method.

  • You receive payment confirmation and the invoice status is automatically updated in your Banqup space when the money reaches your account.

On the PDF of the invoice:

  • A QR code is present on the PDF document.

  • Customers can scan the code with their mobile device.

  • This opens the same secure payment page on their phone.

  • Perfect for customers who prefer mobile payments.

Requirements

Active Payment Services: Payment links are only available for spaces with payment services enabled.

How to send invoices with payment links

  1. Create your invoice in the Document Creator.

  2. Send your invoice. The payment link is automatically included without any additional setup.

  3. Your customer receives the email with the "Pay now" button.

A QR code also appears on the PDF of your invoices. So any customer who looks at your PDF invoices can scan the QR code to pay you.

Important notes

  • Payment links use bank-level encryption and fraud protection to keep all transactions secure. Payment confirmations are automatically verified and processed, and the system meets all regulatory requirements for digital payments.

  • The status of the invoice updates automatically in your Banqup space.
