Registering your accounting firm's clients on the Peppol network allows them to send and receive e-invoices in compliance with international standards. As an accounting firm, you can activate Peppol directly from the platform once you have obtained signed mandates from your clients.

Step 1: Confirm Signed Mandates

Before you can activate Peppol, you must confirm that you hold signed mandates from your clients.

How to do it:

  1. Go to Clients.

  2. Click Confirm signed mandates.

  3. In the pop-up, tick I confirm that I have received signed mandates from these clients for their e-invoicing activation.

  4. Click Confirm to complete this step.

Step 2: Activate E-Invoicing for Clients

Once mandates are confirmed, there are two scenarios:

  1. Inactive clients: they will be automatically registered to Peppol once they sign up to Banqup (if you’ve completed step 1 above). No further action is needed from you.

  2. Active clients: you need to register them on Peppol.
    Here’s how to do it:

    1. Go to your list of active Clients.

    2. Select the clients you confirmed in step 1.

    3. Click Activate e-invoicing.

The selected clients are now registered on Peppol and ready to exchange e-invoices.

Important notes

  • You must have a valid signed mandate for each client before activation.

  • You can select and activate multiple clients at once.

FAQ

Do I need to register every client on Peppol?

No. Only register clients who signed a mandate to delegate their e-invoicing registration to you. Your clients can also register themselves from their Banqup Business Space (learn more here).

Can I activate Peppol for a client without a signed mandate?

No. A signed mandate is legally required before you can activate Peppol for a client.

Can I activate multiple clients at once?

Yes. You can select multiple clients in the Active Clients list and activate them in bulk, provided you have signed mandates for each.
