Disconnect your Peppol registration when you no longer want to send or receive e-invoices through the Peppol network via Banqup. You can deactivate the entire connection or disable specific participant IDs while keeping the integration active.
Deactivating the Peppol connector
To fully disconnect from Peppol:
Go to Network Connectors.
Click the three dots on the Peppol connector.
Click Deactivate.
This stops all Peppol sending and receiving for your organisation.
Disabling specific participant IDs
To keep Peppol active but disable certain ID types:
Go to Network Connectors.
Click the three dots on the Peppol connector.
Select View details.
Toggle off the ID type you want to disable.
This lets you control which business identifiers receive invoices through Peppol without disconnecting entirely.
Switching to send-only mode
From the View details page, you can restrict Peppol to outgoing invoices only:
Toggle off (default): Send and receive invoices via Peppol
Toggle on: Only send invoices via Peppol through Banqup. Incoming Peppol invoices will not be delivered through Banqup.
Use send-only mode when you want to send invoices via Peppol through Banqup, but receive incoming Peppol invoices through a different access point provider. In this case, we recommend registering your VAT number on Peppol via Banqup, and your CBE/GLN via your other access point provider.
What happens after disconnecting
When you deactivate Peppol or disable participant IDs:
You'll no longer receive invoices through the Peppol network for those IDs.
Your customers won't be able to send you invoices via Peppol.
You can reactivate the connector or IDs anytime from Network Connectors.
Note: If you are using send-only mode with a second access point provider for receiving (e.g. your CBE/GLN registered elsewhere), deactivating your Banqup Peppol connector will not affect that configuration. Contact your other provider separately if you also want to stop receiving invoices through them.
Frequently asked questions
What is a "Peppol migration key" and where can I find mine?
This does not exist in Belgium. Yes, there are some service providers who use this terminology, but it's not an official Peppol-compliant service. If your goal is to disconnect from Peppol, follow the instructions above.
