This month you can filter your documents and your Insights by currency, export your documents to SharePoint, get your to-dos by email, and search, sort and check more in the Banqup One mobile app. Here's what's new.
New features
Get your to-dos by email
You no longer have to log in to see what is waiting for you. In My user profile, under Email notifications, turn on Receive a summary of all your to-dos and choose Daily or Weekly.
Tick Weekdays only to skip the weekend.
Tick Only send if there are new to-dos and Banqup stays quiet until something new lands on your list.
See your figures per currency
If you invoice or get invoiced in more than one currency, you can now keep them apart everywhere you look at your numbers.
Sales invoices, Purchase invoices and Purchase receipts have a Currency filter, so a list only shows documents in the currency you pick.
Insights has a currency selector. Switch it and the aging lists (what is due, overdue, and when) recalculate for that currency alone.
Click an Insights card and you land in Sales invoices or Purchase invoices with the same currency filter already applied, so the list matches the number you clicked.
Export your documents to SharePoint
A SharePoint app is available in the Banqup Store. Connect it and your invoices are uploaded automatically to the SharePoint location you choose, so your financial documents are stored and searchable inside the Microsoft environment your company already uses.
More to do in the Banqup One mobile app
The Banqup One app catches up on several things you could only do on the web. These updates reach you once the app stores have approved the new version.
Search by text or amount. Search purchase invoices, sales invoices, quotes and receipts by customer or supplier name, document number, a reference such as a purchase order, or simply an amount. Search works together with the filters you already have on.
Filter and sort separately. Filtering and sorting have their own buttons. Invoices sort by date created, document date, due date, document number, total amount or amount due. Receipts sort by date created, payment date, net or total amount, or VAT.
Discounts and surcharges at document level are shown in a collapsible section on purchase and sales screens, so the total adds up in front of you.
Know when a copy did not arrive. If a document could not be delivered to a CC recipient, a warning shows in the document, and the failed addresses are highlighted in the delivery channels screen.
Receipts are checked before processing. A purchase receipt that does not meet the electronic invoicing standards shows a clear error banner. You can read the rule that failed, copy the log, or send it straight to support.
Your company details and branding, in Space settings. A read-only overview of your registered company information, with the identifiers that apply to your country, and a Branding section showing the logo and icons set for your space.
Quick actions on the login screen. Scan a QR code, add a document, or add money to your account before you even log in.
Improvements
Filter documents by an amount range
The amount filter in Sales invoices and Purchase invoices lets you choose between an exact figure and a range. Pick Min/max amount and the filter expands with a Minimum amount and a Maximum amount field. → Read moreYour search and filters stay put in more places
In Business partners, the search bar now sits above the tabs and your search term follows you from one tab to the next, exactly as it already does in your document lists. Result counters only appear when there is a match. In Transaction radar, filters such as Unmatched and your search survive the browser's back button and the return to the list after you approve, reject or edit a transaction. → Read more
Back to the default table layout in one click
If you rearranged, pinned or resized columns in a list and want the standard view back, the Table columns panel has a reset option that returns every column to its default order, pinning and width at once. → Read more
Cancelled receipts are no longer hidden
Cancelled purchase receipts show in the All tab of Purchase receipts and can be opened like any other receipt, so a receipt you cancelled by mistake is easy to find again. → Read more
Validation errors in plain words
When a document fails validation, you see a description of what is wrong and what to do about it, instead of a technical code. This applies to the checks on electronic invoice files (UBL and CII) that used to surface as bare rule identifiers. → Read more
Know what a new user costs before you invite them
When you invite a user, or import several at once, a banner tells you how many seats your plan includes and what adding more team members changes on your bill, before you confirm. → Read more
Banqup suggests the existing business partner instead of a duplicate
When you create a business partner from Document Creator or from the document details, Banqup checks the legal name, the trade name and the identifiers against your existing partners. If it finds a match, it proposes that partner so you can use it instead of creating a second record. → Read more
One message at a time when paying an invoice
If a document has no payment account, the payment screen shows only that: There is no payment account selected. The notice about a newly detected IBAN waits until you have dealt with the missing account. That notice is now an information message rather than a warning, and it only appears when the account you choose differs from the one Banqup found on the document. Pick the suggested IBAN and no banner shows at all. → Read more
Smarter automatic matching in Transaction radar
Automatic matching recognises an invoice number even when the payment reference carries extra text or different formatting. Clear matches are approved for you, so fewer transactions wait for a manual decision. → Read more
Payment date and method follow what actually happened
A document's Payment date now reflects its real status: the scheduled date for a planned payment, or the date of the most recent transaction once one or more payments (including partial ones) have gone through. The payment method used, such as bank transfer or card, is recorded alongside it. When several payments settle one document, the method of the latest one is shown. → Read more
Self-billed credit notes update the invoice balance
When you create a self-billed credit note and select the invoice it refers to, the two documents are linked and the invoice's Amount due drops by the credit note amount. If the credit note is larger than what was still open, the remaining balance is shown on the credit note. → Read more
